By Sampson Adedeji

Barely 4 months to the start of the 2022 World Cup qualifier, Super Eagles group opponent Cape Verde has kick start preparations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The match day one and two qualifiers of the world biggest soccer showpiece was earlier fixed for June before it was moved to September owing to non readiness of approved stadia in some countries.

Countries who will participate in the qualifiers has started shopping for quality friendly matches to fill up the vacancy and put the players in good shape as most leagues across the world would have ended by then.

To this end Cape Verde has concluded an arrangement to play against Teranga Lion of Senegal in a friendly match in June.

The President of Federation Cape Verde Football (FCF) Mario Semedo has confirmed the friendly game.

Cape Verde will have a crunchy tie against Super Eagles of Nigeria in the match day 3 and 4 of the qualifiers.
