AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez has tested positive for Covid-19.
Hernandez tested positive for the virus on his return from international duty with France this week.
“AC Milan announces that Theo Hernández, who has returned from the national team, has tested positive for a swab carried out at home. The relevant local health authorities have been informed and the player is doing well,” a statement from the club read.
The 24-year-old had carried out a swab test at home which came back positive, and the club have made the relevant health authorities aware of the result.
His compatriot and Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot had tested positive for COVID last week, after France’s semi-final against Belgium in Turin.
