Bundesliga: Collins Scores Own-goal In Paderborn Loss

It was a day to forget for Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins after his team Paderborn fell 2-1 to Herta Berlin in the Bundesliga match played on Saturday.
Despite languishing in the relegation water since the start of the league, Collins remained one of the outstanding player for the club with his amazing display, BSN Reports.
Colombia international and former Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata got things off in the 10th minute for the visitors before Dennis Srbeny leveled the game in the 51st minute.
Later in the match unfortunate incident occurred as Collins go on to have a hand in Hertha’s winner after Matheus Cunha’s back heel took a deflection off the Nigeria international on the way into the net.
The outcome of the match means that Paderborn continued to fight for survival as the league continues.
