CAFCC: Horoya AC Holds Enyimba In Aba

Guinea premier league leader Horoya AC held Nigeria league champion, Enyimba international of Aba in the first leg of CAF Confederation Cup quarter final.

The match which was held at the Enyimba international stadium in Aba saw the two teams giving their maximum best to secure much needed results, BSN Reports.

The Peoples Elephant expectedly dominated the first stanza and their efforts paid off as midfielder Austion Oladapo opened the scoring in the 18th minute of the game.

The home side tried to increase its tally before the first stanza ended but was unable due to Horoya defenders.

The second half resumed with the away side taking over the game and made Enyimba chase the game.

Haba Boniface leveled the game in the 71st minute with a decent finish and ended the game in a 1-1 draw.

The Nigeria side will have to record away win or higher score draw in the second leg slated for next weekend to have a chance of progressing into the last four of the competition.
