CAFCL/CAFCC: CAF Set Deadlines For Clubs, Players Registration

Africa soccer governing body competition committe met on Monday and set deadline for the clubs and players registrations for the 2021/2022 inter-club competitions, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 2020/2021 edition of both competitions is still in the knockout round but the department has swing into action for the next year to avoid the delayed that happened in the year 2020.
According to CAF an official correspondence has been sent to all its affiliated national federations, informing them of the need to determine the identity of the clubs that will represent them in the African Champions League Cup and the Confederation Cup for the next season 2021-2022 before the day of June 30, 2021.
with specification the three periods of players enrollment in the African lists are as follows:
The first registration period: extends to July 10, 2021 (without fines)
The second registration period extends from July 11 to July 20, 2021, with a fine of $250 for each player added to the African list during this period.
The third registration period: extending from 21 to 31 July 2021, during which registered players cannot be compensated, but new players can be added with a fine of $500 for each player who is added to the African list during this period, provided that the maximum number of players registered in the list of each team does not exceed 40 players.
This is with reference to the players who will be registered during the third period will not be allowed to participate until the beginning of the second preliminary round.
