Lobi Stars midfielder David Tyavkase is determined to keep the Nigerian club alive in the CAF Champions League by getting three points against Mamelodi Sundowns at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, BSNSports reports.
Lobi have already tasted victory over Sundowns in this season’s group stage campaign, when they beat the 2016 champions 2-1 on match day one back in January.
David Tyavkase says the team is prepared to get a convincing result to take to the return leg in South Africa.
“We are focused and ready for the match. It will be a tough battle against Mamelodi Sundowns.
“We must score goals, and I mean goals and also avoid conceding against our hosts”.
