The Coaches Association in its Coronavirus awareness statement directed that all the coaches in Abuja to ensure that the Federal Government, FCT FA orders on social distancing by making sure that no football game is played in their communities.

The statement reads; “Football Coaches in the nooks and crannies of the FCT are hereby requested to reach out to all coaches in their communities to ensure that they comply with the stay at home order by the Government as these players have a bright future which should be protected NOW. Players should be advised to exercise and keep fit at home.

“The Leaders at the Area Councils must ensure that all training grounds are closely monitored to be sure of compliance. We don’t need the Security Agencies to compel us to do the right thing. Let us keep off from the CROWD for now. Please, report to Coaches SITUATION ROOM at our various platforms.”
