This, according to an official of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, working with the team and spoke with BSN Sports on condition of anonymity adding that the technical staff of the Super Eagles have  been the same page since his arrival.

He added that the Eagles have not won a match since he arrived because he doesn’t bring anything to help the team and warned that Nigeria may not get best of results in as much as both of them (Rohr and Yobo) are working together.

In his words, “Let me tell you one major problem in the Super Eagles now, since the arrival of former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, there has been no victory for the Eagles. What experience or training does he have to help the team as assistant coach? Is he there to create problem or solution?

“Let me also tell you that, Yobo is a very proud man and he has been more of a division than solution. He caused a lot of confusion in the team. He has to adapt to us (the team) not we trying to adapt to him because he is a man of the minister who wants to get rid of the coach.

“Nigeria may not get the best result when both of them (Yobo and Rohr) are working together because it seems he’s been forced on him by the power that be. And the good thing is that the technical staff and players are behind Rohr on this.” The source concluded
