EPL: Balogun Scores, Gives Away Penalty
Substitute and Nigerian international Leon Balogun scored his first premier League goal on Tuesday in the four goals thriller at the Amex Stadium as Brighton host rivals Crystal Palace.
The Super Eagles defender scored in the 31st minute in what happened to be his first kick of the match as he came off the bench and straight into the Palace box for a Brighton corner.
Solly March whipped it in and Balogun, only off the bench after a red card to Shane Duffy, belts it in at the far post.
Balogun’s goal was converted after Murray converted a penalty kick to give the visitors the lead.
Glenn Murray hammered home his eighth goal of the season against his former club Brighton.
The third goal as Palace pushed to reduce the deficit but left themselves exposed on the break as Florin Andone chased a lost cause into the opposition territory.
