Europa League: Osimhen Hit Brace, Ndidi Sees Red As Napoli Hold Leicester City

English Premier League side Leicester City played host to Italia Serie A club Napoli on Thursday at the King Power Stadium in UEFA Europa League and three of Nigeria’s Super Eagles were in action.

BSN Sports report that the duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action from the kickoff as Foxes netted the opening goal through Ayoze Perez earlier in the game.

Harvey Barnes made it 2-0 in the 64th minute after Zambia international Patson Daka has a goal ruled out via VAR.

Victor Osimhen efforts paid off in the 68th minute as he halved the deficit for the visitors.

The Naple based team continue threatening the backline of Leicester City and Osimhen popped up the volume again netted the equalizer in the 87th minute of the encounter.

Meanwhile it was a day to forget Ndidi as he was sent off in the 93rd minute for a second bookable offence having being booked earlier in the 21st minute.

He will miss the club next Europa League game.
