FCT FA Election: Chuks Ijeoma Voted Chairman AMAC Football Area Council

Ijeoma Chuks Emmanuel on Tuesday at Old Parade Ground, was voted by all delegates as the Chairman Abuja Football Municipal Area Council (AMAC).
Chairlady, Abuja Municipal Women Football Area Council, Ngozi Eze moved the motion to dissolve the former board and was seconded by Coach Abimbola Samuel (AMAC Football Academies Representative) and that heralded the beginning of voting processes for the new board members.
Chairman, FCT Football Association Electoral Committee, Mr Victor Ijeremen swung action by making sure that the six delegates are duly checked and took their rightful positions in readiness to cast their votes.
Though, unopposed, all the six delegates cast their votes for Chuks Ijeoma who was swore in immediately after Victor Ijeremen declared him winner.
Expectedly, Chuks was congratulated by all football stakeholders present at the polling unit. While responding to the congratulatory messages and prayers, he told everyone that his newly voted board need contribution of all stakeholders to run a successful tenure in office.
He harped on talent hunts as his board focus, saying that they need to roll out different programmes from which talented young budding footballers will be discovered.
“My happiness today knows no bound, i appreciate and thank everyone who has supported me one way or the other and i promise not to disappoint you.
“Let me tell everyone that we are going to run an open door policy where all stakeholders can contribute meaningfully to the growth of football in AMAC Area Council.
“Our focus will be on organizing different programmes where budding talents will be discovered.”
“We also appreciate FCT FA Chairman, Adams Muktar Mohammed for making sure that the election went through electoral processes.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Obi Oge and Audu Muhammed Lawal emerged Vice-chairman and Member of the AMAC Football Area Council respectively with six votes each.
