Iwobi comes off the bench to spark Arsenal to victory over Rennes; Chukwueze Missing In Villareal Loss, Advanced To Q/Final

It was an excellent night for Nigerian players in the Europa League, as Alex Iwobi who helped Arsenal to an impressive 3-0 win at home to Rennes, whilst Samuel Chukwueze saw his Villarreal team also progress to quarter final, BSNSports reports.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inspired an Arsenal comeback as they overturned a two-goal deficit from the first leg and reached the Europa League quarter-finals with a 4-3 aggregate win over Rennes.
Iwobi subbed on for Alexandre Lacazette in the 70th minute of the win.
The game was his eighth appearance of the season and has scored once with two assists to his name.
The Eagles’ youngster was conspicuously missing from match day squad, as Zenit St Petersburg defeat the Spanish side 2-1 in second leg win to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition with a 5-2 aggregate win.
Chukwueze who played 90 minutes at first leg, was unused substitute for Villarreal.
The 19-year-old has made seven appearances in the competition for the Yellow Submarines with one goal and one assist to his name.
