By Sampson Adedeji
Tanzania champions SC Simba continue to press hard in order to have Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Junior Lokosa in their team before the resumption of the group stage of the CAF champions league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Lokosa moved to Tunisia in 2018 after he emerged top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League and he also made his debut for Super Eagles same year.
Tunisia Ligue One side, Esperance released the Nigeria international after injury affected his performance with the team.
The reports coming from Tanzania has it that Simba SC have offered Junior Lokosa a mandatory trial to ascertain his fitness level before signing him.
But Lokosa rejected the offer insisting that the club should offer him a straight contract if they require his services.
Its left to be seen if Simba will agree to Lokosa demand or he will bend to have a trial with the club.
