By Niyi Busari

The two Nigerian teams in the continent, Enyimba International and Rangers international won their match-day 2 rescheduled matches, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Enyimba’s defeat to Nasarawa United left the Solid Miners without a point in two matches and are 20th on the log. Austin Oladapo and Samson Obi’s one goal apiece in the 18th and 45th minute gave the champions two goals lead in the half time. However, Hamza Owolabi reduced the tally for Bala Nkiyu-led team in the 56th minute when he scored from the spot.

Austin Oladapo left it late before completing his brace in the 82nd minute to maintain the African two times champions two goals lead.

At the Cathedral, in Enugu, Nnamdi Egbujuo scored the only goal of the entertaining encounter as impressive Sunshine Stars fell 0-1 to the former Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions.

At the Godswill Akpabio stadium, in Uyo, Akwa United failed at home to defeat combative Abia Warriors as the match ended in barren draw. The result makes Akwa Ibom state owned team have two draws from two matches and helped Abia Warriors to place 4th on the log with 4 points.

As at week 2, Plateau United and Wikki Tourists maintained first and second positions with 6 points apiece.

Enyimba, Abia Warriors, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, MFM FC and Rangers International all have four points and occupied 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th positions respectively.

Lobi Stars, Warri Wolves and Akwa United completed the top ten while Akwa Starlets, Kano Pillars, Adamawa United, Heartland, Sunshine Stars, Katsina united and Delta Force have 1 point each.
