One of Nigeria’s most prolific striker, Paul Onachu ended the Belgian league on a high scoring a brace in his side 3-2 loss to Royal Antwerp, reports.

The 26 years old attained his best career goal scoring record wrapping a total of 29 league goals to finish on top of the Belgian First Division scorers chat eight ahead of closest rival, Thomas Henry of OH Leuven.

Onachu who has scored at least a goal in his last matches including the two qualifiers for the Super Eagles of Nigeria opened the scoring for the visitors in the 22nd minute and made it 2-0 in the 56th minute but a late rally back from the host ensured Genk left Bosuil Stadion empty handed.
