By Sampson Adedeji

Former Nigerian International Benedict Akwuegbu has admitted that the upcoming African Cup of Nations will be very tough, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The skilful striker who was part of the Super Eagles team at the 2000 AFCON further said he has no favourite for the tournament.

"African football has really improved, Morocco played so well at the World Cup and they will be strong and tough.

We have Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria even Ivory Coast, they are strong and good, so I don't really have a favourite.

"Increasing the number of the participating teams further made it tougher competition to win", he said on Jamz FM Radio, Ibadan.
