Former Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Benedict Akwuegbu has said having the combination of the duo of Emmanuel Amuneke and Sunday Oliseh as the Super Eagles coaches will surely improve the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Former Sturm Graz of Austria attacker made the statement during his chat on Jamz FM 100.1 Ibadan, he said both ex-internationals have the wherewithal to take the team to a greater height.

" Both Amuneke and Oliseh are excellent individuals with great commitment and passion for the Super Eagles.

We played together in the national team and I can say it categorically that they can improve the team.

They played up to the highest levels and also had the qualifications to take charge of the team.

"NFF should give them a long-term contract and other necessary requirements and support with that, the results will be good for the country", he said on Jamz FM Ibadan.
