Marco Baroni says he's impressed on how Super Eagles prodigy Fisayo Dele-Bashiru's physicality and good technique have helped him improve, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Italian coach highlighted Lazio's growing ambition in the Europa League.

After urging Lazio to be ‘aggressive’ in their match against Ajax in Amsterdam, the lads delivered a commanding 3-1 victory at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, maintaining their position at the top of the Europa League table.

Goals from Loum Tchaouna, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and a late strike from Pedro secured the win, overcoming a temporary equalizer from Bertrand Traore.

Lazio now holds 16 points after six matches. The Nigerian has thrived since being moved to a two-man midfield by Baroni.

He remarked, “Dele-Bashiru comes from a different footballing background where he doesn’t need as much focus. His physicality is devastating, and he has good technique.

"However, he needs to improve by synchronizing the speed of his brain with his legs. Once he does that, he will become a remarkable midfielder.”
