Doma United Beat Katsina United, Top NPFl Table Again

Doma United regained their place on top of the Nigeria Premier Football League this season after their comfortable 2-0 win over the visiting Katsina United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Playing at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe, the host seized control of the game from the blast of the whistle and they were able to wrap up the game before 10 minutes.

Bidemi Owoku opened the scoring in the 2nd minute before Samuel Enefiok netted the second goal in the 8th minute.

All the efforts of Katsina to reduce the scoreline, especially in the second half proved abortive as it finished 2-0 in favour of the Savannah Tigers.

Doma garnered 31 points from 17 games while Remo Stars and Lobi Stars have 29 points with a game to play today.
