"Expect A Different Line-up Against New Zealand On Tuesday" - Waldrum

By Niyi Busari

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum has stated that he will unleash a different set of players on New Zealand when both sides clash in an international friendly match next Tuesday, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The nine times African champions will build on their 2-1 victory over Haiti on Friday to record a third consecutive wins after losing six consecutive games under Randy.

The American tactician during an interview with NFF TV after the match said he has to study the opponent to determine the team approach to the game: "I have to watch more videos of New Zealand women's team. It will be a different kind of game their style seem bit different. So, we are looking forward to seeing changes in the line up and will be excited to see how they fair."

He is however proud of how Super Falcons played against Haitians on Friday.

"I am very proud of the way we played. I think in the first 75 minutes we played very well. The mistake is the ability to return quick from the attack. We are in possession of the ball but too casual with it and caught us on the break. So it's something we break down in the video. Their best chance came off our mistake. Overall like I said before, we have a very good performance today.

"The way Oshoala and Oparanozie combined together showed that they know each other very well and the Haitians are lucky not to concede a goal in the last 10 minutes of the game. For that reason, we will see how she's going to fit and play with rest of the players.

The 2019 African champions will take on New Zealand women's national team on Tuesday at 4pm (Nigerian time).
