Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has charged head coach of the Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso to do everything in putting together a team that will make Nigerians proud at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia,BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Dare on Monday charged the players and officials during the reception of the Flying Eagles by the Ministry of Sports at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

"I don't envy you because you have great job to do ahead of the world Cup. You must as a matter of urgency put together a team that will make Nigerians proud during the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia.

He added that the world Cup is not for the faint hearted but for those with lion heart and charged the players to put their names on the sand of time.

The World Cup is not a joke, it's for the lion hearts. The world Cup will not be easy and we expect you to be at your best. The technical team know what to do. Nigerians will support you and if you wish to spend your camping in Abuja.

The Flying Eagles have 12 times appearances at the FIFA U20 World Cup but were able to become the runners-up two times in Saudi 1989 and in 2015.

Nigeria beat Tunisia 4-0 in the Third Place while the champions, Senegal defeated Gambia 2-0 in the final.

Nigeria, Gambia, Tunisia and Senegal will flag African flag at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia.
