"Guinea Bissau Players To Play for Pride Vs Eagles, Says Carlos Mane
By Precious Oham
Guinea Bissau forward, Carlos Mane has said the team wants to play for pride ahead of the final Group A game with the Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng reports.Â
The Super Eagles on Monday will confront the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
"We want to play for pride, for our country and family. We want to finish the tournament with point(s) and we want to win tomorrow. I know the Super Eagles coach (Jose Peseiro), we have worked together, he is a very good coach but we are going to give our best tomorrow."
Guinea Bissau’s Dogs are pointless and largely hopeless but could be dangerous on the take as they have nothing to lose on the day.
