After being out of the team for more than a year, Hoffeinheim of Germany defender Kevin Akpoguma is targeting a return to the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

Despite having a stellar performance while he was in the team, he has been out due to his incessant injury.

Since the start of the season, the Nigerian international has been regular for Hoffeinheim.

" They stopped calling me for Super Eagles games after 2023, but I am available for coach Eguavoen"

" I will keep doing my best, and hopefully, I will get a chance", he said.
