"I Didn’t Get My Entitlement, Accommodation From NFF Throughout My Tenure" — Pinnick

Former President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has revealed that he did not receive his official entitlements or accommodation allowances throughout his eight-year tenure in office, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Pinnick made the disclosure while speaking during a conversation with former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, where he reflected on his time in charge of Nigerian football.

According to the former NFF boss, he was officially entitled to an annual sum of $80,000 (approximately ₦12 million) as president of the federation but claimed that the payments were never made.

“For eight years, the NFF did not pay me. As president then, I was entitled to $80,000 (₦12 million),” Pinnick said.

He further stated that the federation also failed to cover his accommodation and travel expenses, forcing him to personally fund many official engagements.

“They didn’t pay for my accommodation, and I was even travelling with my own money,” he added.

Pinnick, who served as NFF president from 2014 to 2022, made the remarks amid ongoing discussions about governance, accountability, and financial management within Nigerian football.
