"I Have A Lot To Learn In Qatar" – Ekong

Former Nigerian international William Troost-Ekong has admitted that he still has a lot to learn about football in Qatar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Super Eagles captain recently joined Al Ahli SC during the January transfer window following the expiration of his contract with Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al-Khalood.

Ekong, who is adjusting to life in the Qatar Stars League, said he is gradually adapting to the style of play and environment in the Gulf nation.

“I’m new to Qatar football and I have a lot to learn,” he stated.

The experienced defender is expected to bring leadership and defensive solidity to Al Ahli as they push to improve their standing in the league.
