Former Flying Eagles Coach, Ladan Bosso has labeled the news making the rounds that he has been appointed as the Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles as figment of the imagination, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

On Monday last week there was reports claiming that Rangers International Head Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu and Ladan Bosso have been appointed as the two home based assistants to work with the head coach.

Reacting, Bosso laughed off the claims saying that, he has never heard of it where Assistants were appointed and announced without Head Coach.

"That's not true because I have not been contacted by the Nigeria Football Federation over being picked as the Assistant Coach.

"Come to think of it, have you ever heard where assistant coaches were announced without Head Coach been appointed first? He asked rhetorically.

"That's a propaganda. If there's anything like that, I should be the first to know. He concluded.

Super Eagles will trade tackles with Benin Republic and Rwanda in the first week of September in the 2025 African Nations Cup qualifier.

Super Eagles will host Benin Republic in Nigeria on 7th September before travelling to face Rwanda on Matchday 2 three days later.
