"It's A Privilege To Represent Nigeria" - Semi Ajayi

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi has described representing Nigeria as a blessing for him, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The West Bromwich Albion defender was in action on Monday when the Super Eagles defeated Djurtus of Guinea Bissau by a lone goal.

While speaking on the game, the versatile defender was happy about the result but confirmed that he always gives his best whenever they called upon him.

"It's a very very important result in terms of our qualification for AFCON. We lost on Friday and we are happy to put things right here.

"It's a blessing anytime I'm called up to represent my country, whether it's 1 minute or 90 minutes, I don't take it for granted.

"I'm happy that I was able to start today and we got a very valuable win", he said in a short video posted on social media.
