By Gbenga Gboyega
As the People's Elephant of Aba continues to reshuffle their squad with incoming and outgoing players, Moses Onome Omoduemuke has joined the array of players to bid Enyimba International farewell after a year with the club, bsnsports.com.ng reports.
The 24-year-old center-forward signed for Enyimba from Shooting Stars on the 17th of September 2022, but endured a skeletal 2023 during the abridged Nigeria Premier League season, featuring six times all through, while spending most of the time on the bench or out of the squad.
"It's time to say goodbye to this huge club that immediately welcomed me as a family and made me feel at home from the very beginning," Moses drafted in his farewell message.
"I learned, made mistakes, grew, and improved. It's been a great club where I met wonderful people from coaches to the cafeteria, where I saw what it was to love football, to love the club, and to defend their colors."
Moses started his NPL spell at Warri Wolves before becoming a free agent in the summer of 2020 after running out of contract.
He moved to Rivers United in 2021 after spending a year without a club, before joining 3SC of Ibadan in March 2022 where he spent half a season. He ends his spell with the People's Elephant of Aba without a goal.
"I wanted to thank everyone and especially the fans for their support since my arrival. You guys are awesome.
And lastly, thanks to you my colleagues, I will keep the amazing memories in mind.
"I will always be a philanthropist. Thank you so much Enyimba!" Moses concluded.
Enyimba Football Club begin their 2023-24 football campaign on the Continental stage with a two-legged CAF Champions League qualifier against Al Ahly Benghazi of Libya, going away on the 20th and hosting on the 26th of August 2023.
