"Technical Crew, Kits Manager Will Pay NPFL N1M Fine" - Katsina United Chairman

Katsina United Chairman, Kabir Dan'lami said the Technical Crew and the team's kits manager would pay the One million naira fine imposed on the club by the Nigeria Premier Football League body over improper dress code, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Katsina United player worn a jersey with handwritten number in a league match versus Sporting FC of Lagos. The League manager hence slammed the fine of One million naira on the club for bringing the League into disrepute. Reacting, the Chairman of the Katsina Interim Management Committee, Kabir Dan'lami Rimi, in a statement signed by the Media Officer, Nasir Gide and made available to BSN Sports reads: "Chairman of Katsina United Interim management committee Alh Kabir Dan'lami Rimi has to take action against the Club Technical Crew for allowing a wrong mode of dressing by a Katsina United FC player during their encounter against Sporting FC.
 "The chairman expressed dismay over what he described as unprofessionalism and vow to take drastic measures against the culprit.
Alh Kabir Dan'lami noted that the technical Crew and the team Kits Manager are aware of the league body mode of dressing code, but they went ahead to use a player with wrong mode of dressing which he described as unacceptable
"Therefore the technical Crew along side the suspended Kits Manager will pay the fine of one million naira impose on the club by the league body following the incident."
