The Secretary General of Nigeria Cricket Federation, Taiwo Orhis, has said that the federation will not Rush into appointing new Technical Adviser, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Explaining why the former foreign Technical Adviser, Asanka Gurusinha, left Nigeria, the Secretary also added that the Federation is working on the processes of engaging replacement.

"We did not terminate his (Asanka Gurusinha) contract, he has to attend to some health challenges and in fairness to him, he came out to say I will not be attending to my health while I'm running a contract with Nigeria, so, it is wise and best I stay out of the contract agreement so I can take total care of my health. So, it is just a gentle man agreement and is good thing that he come out straight otherwise he could be here and not fully functional and nobody will notice that we are not getting the best out of him, I think he's an honest man and we are happy about that.

"For the replacement, we don't want to rush into that, there are process before engaging an expatriate but for now let just see how we execute what is in front of us.
