"Why We Will Delay Super Eagles Coach's Announcement" - NFF

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)has said that they will delay the announcement and the unveiling of Super Eagles Coach when there is assurance of payment of at least his first ten months after resumption, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The NFF hierarchy who spoke with BSN Sports on condition anonymity said the federation is in contact with philanthropists who have agreed to pay the salary of the coach but that has not been concluded.

"If we employ a coach now and after three months we are unable to pay, that shows we are not serious. We are in talks with people that can pay his salary for at least ten months." The source told www BSN sports.com.ng.

"So, we are communicating with them, once we get the assurance of payment, then we will announce the coach.

"We are looking at engaging the Swedish coach, Janne Andersson but we have not finalized yet, he's on top of our list but the decision can still change.

"I want to be sure that in the next ten months we can pay the salary of the coach we engage, and results during that time we determine other things." He concluded.
