I Advise Osimhen To Pick Napoli - Lille President

As the discussions over the future of Nigeria's Super Eagles and LOSC Lille striker Victor Osimhen continues, his club president Gerad Lopez has confirmed that he advised him to pick Napoli.

Th former Wolfsburg forward traveled to Naples last week ahead of the potential transfer to the Serie A side, BSN Reports.

Lopez said there several offers for Osimhen but believed Napoli is more suitable for him due to his style of play, BSN Reports.

“We had several offers for Victor. We exchanged a lot. We get on well and he has an extraordinary life.

He asked me and I gave him the name of the club that we think is best for him. And by his style of play, the coach and the progression he envisions.

Naples is just below Juve or Barça but it is on the same level as Atletico Madrid. If he goes there, he will be their superstar.“

Having Naples at your feet must be something in the life of a footballer. Victor has the strength to perform under pressure," he said.

Osimhen has returned to France after he had a meeting with Napoli president and coach Gennaro Gatuso.
