Former Nigeria's Super Eagles international Emmanuel Amuneke has declared self available for any coaching appointment that meet up his requirements.

BSN reports that the former Barcelona winger was relieved of his appointment as the coach of Taifa's star of Tanzania after leading them to 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Amuneke led Tanzania back to the echelon of Africa football after their last appearance in 1980.

According to reports the Olympic gold medalist was quoted as to have said:

“I’m very open to any positive offer that comes because I’ve spent the last few weeks learning new ideas and methods.

“As a manager you need to be honest with yourself and even though Tanzania is a closed chapter, I picked up valuable lessons from that job.

"I want a fresh start and it has to be something that is right, and hopefully the ambition will align with mine," he said.

The 1994 African Footballer of the Year, who had previously managed Nigeria’s youth teams and Sudanese club SC Khartoum have been out of job since July, 2019.
