  "I Have To Work Hard To Keep My Super Eagles Spot" - Okoye By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles and Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has said that he needs to work extra hard to keep his national team spot, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Okoye made his debut for Nigeria in an international friendly match against Brazil in Singapore and also made his competitive debut in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone. While speaking to club media, Okoye said playing for Nigeria was not easy at the initial stage when he teemed up with the National team. "I've been with the Eagles for one and half years now but I was on the bench at the beginning, then I came in against Brazil. "That was like the first step in this direction. Of course, it was not easy to get the number one spot there and it would be harder now to keep it because the boys are coming and I have to keep up with good performances both here at club side and also in Nigeria of course.” he said.
