The debates of the African most talented player is not something that will go down very soon as former Teranga Lion of Senegal striker El Hadji Diuof has sparked another row.

Few weeks back Diuof picked himself to be more talented than the duo of former Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o Fils and Ivorian legend Didier Drogba but his claims generated controversies across the globe, BSN Reports.

Former Liverpool player on Sunday came out again and clarified his statements, saying he has respect for both Eto'o and Drogba but believed his former teammates at Bolton wanderer Jay Jay Okocha remained the most talented African player.

“ Today, I respect what they (Drogba and Eto'o) have accomplished in football and I will always defend them.

The most talented African footballer, who has played the best football on the continent since my birth, is Jay Jay Okocha ", considered the double African Golden Ball, before clarifying his definition of" talented ".

" Being talented does not necessarily mean that you are the best or that you have won the most titles in your career, we will always have people who will win more trophies and I respect that, " continued Diouf before praising Okocha:

“He is the most talented player I have ever seen. He did not win as many trophies as the others, he did not win the Ballon d'Or but no one can claim that he is the most talented African footballer of all time," he concluded
