"We Need Facilities At Grassroot Level" - Shooting Stars Head Of Football Academy

Shooting Stars head of Academy Coach, Ayo Adeyemo has urged government at every level to come to the aid of grassroots football coaches and provide adequate facilities and infrastructures at for development of the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
He explained that lack of adequate facilities remained a major problem for every grassroots coaches on delivering in their duties.
He also urged State Football Association to wake up to their duty by monitoring all the grassroot competitions and coaches and ensured that they are doing the right thing.
He made this statements during a virtual coaching lecture organised by Bolarinwa Obalola, Kobayashi, under the auspices of State of Osun Grassroots Football Coaching Education.
" State government and State football association has a lot to do in developing grassroot football.
"Government should make available facilities and infrastructures at grassroot level, the moment that is done state football association will wake up to their job.
State FA are the one who suppose to be in charge of grassroot football so they shape the game in every state.
"They must monitor all the state competitions and coaches, it's their role to check the grassroot movement.
"We registered all the grassroot teams and coaches with them and they have to look after us.
"I implore FA to do more in grassroot football because that is where football started and where you can have a very good product at the professional level," he stated.
