"We will come out in flying colours against Plateau United" - MFM FC's Defender
Mountain of Fire Ministry (MFM) Football Club central defender, Joshua Akpudje has said that his team his fully ready and well motivated to lock horns and defeat Plateau United in their match-day 17 of the 2019/20 Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Joshua, who is full of confidence while speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng revealed that the head coach has since Monday tasked the Olukoya Boys to go for an outright win while mapping out strategies to pick the maximum points.
"Playing against a team on top of the table will make our fans expect a lot from us and they are coming down to our home.
"All eyes on us and i believe in my team, we are good to go. We can do something special today against Plateau United. For me, this is a game i have prepared for. To give my best and win the game for my team and also to give my fans an opportunity to have a bragging right.
"The coach has been working so hard since on Monday so that we can come out in flying colours on Sunday. Plateau United is a good team but we believe they are beatable in Lagos." He concluded.
The league leaders, Plateau United have lost their last two away matches to Sunshine Stars and Katsina United before their last weekend 5-0 home win over Adamawa United. Plateau United are topping the NPFL table its 28 points but closely followed by Lobi Stars and Rangers who are on the same 28 points.
On their part, MFM FC have won their last two home games, pipped Dakkada FC 1-0 and handed a 2-1 win to Jigawa Golden Stars.
