Enyimba Coach, Finidi George has praised his boys for earning points against Sunshine on Sunday at Ijebu Ode.
Enyimba recorded its first away victory with Mbaoma's goal in the 46th minute.
According to Finidi; "Yeah, sometimes you have the chances and you couldn't take them in most of these games played. Today we have half and half chances and mistakes. Football is a game of mistakes, so we too have made mistakes in the past, we just have to accept this victory."
He continued; "We will continue to work on our finishing and make sure we take our chances whenever we have them. Today I will accept the three points because if you can see our game against Lobi Stars we couldn't score but today half and half I put it that way, a mistake from the keeper I will put it that way. "
"Every game is a challenge, we have to work, you can see the boys have to work so hard to defend that one goal. I must commend them, it wasn't so easy. Our last game (Nasarawa) we played so well and lost and today, the boys did so well defending that one goal, this are the point that will take you somewhere at the end of the season."
There weren't any mistakes , we didn't take our chances well. We played good football in the last three games but we couldn't score and today I will take any victory at this point in time. So I'm happy for the victory."
While discussing the League, Finidi said the league hasn't changed from how it used to be.
"The standard is very okay, I think it is okay but we should be looking at making it better. We shouldn't be very happy with the way the League is today, the days I played the league I can't really see much difference from the days I played the league I can't really see much difference to today's league we're playing. I hope in the near future, we are able to change one or two things. That's not on me but the federation to do that."
