"Why Nigeria Football Witness Abysmal Performance In 2019" - Dalung

As to abysmal performance of national teams in 2019. I have not been too happy. Everyday when i wake up i feel very unhappy because Nigeria is a football Nation and i know how our people behave when it comes to football. Unfortunately, all the qualifications.

I qualified Nigeria for the world cup with a game to spare and without a presidential task force. Before i assumed office, all the qualification in the past was done with a jumbo size multi-billion presidential take force
I alone, Solomon Selcap Dalung qualified the team with rematch to spare and the first African team to qualify in 2018. I also qualifies Nigeria for Olympics and also African Cup of Nations they played this years.

They also qualified for WAFU and CHAN. I left the national teams all active in major international competitions. Nigeria won silver medal in WAFU competition and CHAN, and won bronze from the Olympics and also retained the Women African Nations title, winning it two times under me.

But the U17 the Golden Eaglets which is even like our birthright which we have won five times, we even crash out.

So, for me, 2019 is a dark football year because next year we are no where on any competition except qualifiers.

We are not going for Olympics to defend our bronze medal at the Olympics, our women national team will also not be there.

It is not a palatable development at all, it is sad
