"You Will Be Back To The Top" - Uzoho Encourages Relegated Deportivo

After suffering a relegation to Spanish third tier league, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Apoel Nicosia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has send a word of encouragement to his former club Deportivo La Coruna, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Coruna based club gave Nigeria youngster his first taste of professional football in the La Liga few years back and has to send such message to lift the spirits of players and officials.
Deportivo was demoted to the Spanish Segunda division B that third tier last season after the league failed to resume.
Uzoho via his social media handle used his injury as a case study to encouraged the club.
"My injury has taught me a lot of lessons and one out of the many is that bad times will definitely pass and light will shine again. @RCDeportivo you’ll be back to the top where you belong 🙏🏽 No matter the distance I’ll always love you # FORZADEPOR", he wrote.
Uzoho got injured during a friendly match involving Nigeria's Super Eagles and Selecao of Brazil in November 2019.
He recovered from the injury and since started training ahead of the new Cyprus league season.
