Not fewer than 100 kids benefited from Noah Dallaji Legacy Basketball three-day training camp in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The camp which commenced on Thursday will climax today (Saturday).
The train of one of Africa's biggest sports mentorship program which commenced in Kano Nigeria moves to Ethiopia to give budding talents from across the continent the opportunity to learn basketball from the best coaches and legends of the game in the continent.
This edition was tutored by former captain of Nigeria men's basketball team, D'Tigers, Olumide Oyedeji.
Customarily, the camp which is taking place at the Rashilu Gymnasium, Addis Ababa incorporates a basketball clinic and mentorship session as well as other interesting side attractions.
Supported by African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF), the project teaches upcoming players new tricks and how to manage their game in the face of challenges associated with the sport.
Event sponsor, Engineer Dr, Noah Dallaji, who is also the founder, African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF), said the camp is part of his programme aimed at providing the platform for talented youths to make the best use of their skills.
Dallaji noted the challenges youths face in developing their talents, but assured that the ACTDF will continue to provide the platform for such talented young people to realise their ambition if they are determined to do so.
As is customary at the end of the Clinic, some players who distinguished themselves received scholarships to further their education.
This goodwill continues the tradition established after the first edition in Kano where 14 outstanding players received scholarships for further mentoring at various universities in the United States and Canada.
Other projects carried out by the Noah Dallaji chaired African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF), include the Dallaji/Asisat Oshoala girl football tourney and the Dallaji Para-soccer championship which were held in Lagos.
