12 players arrive as, Home based U-23 camp opens

Twelve of the 33 Nigerian football, players invited for screening for the, African Home Based Nations Cup Qualifier have reported at the camp in Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng exclusively reports.

The senior home-based national football team on Friday morning had their first training session under the watchful eyes of Coach Imama Amapakabo.

Imama disclosed to BSNSports via telephone conversation, that he was happy with the enthusiasm of the invited players.

“I Really appreciate the patriotism showed by the players already on ground".

“We will try as much as possible to give the country the very best of representation and hopefully we will scale through the hurdle".

Nigeria will entertain their Libyans on March 25 after a first leg in Tunisia on March 23rd.

Egypt will host the 3rd Africa U23 Cup of Nations, 8th – 22nd November 2019.
