Whether the Nigeria U20 men's national team will wait for another 41 years to reappear in the final of the African Games or they will be in the final in the final and win gold medal in the next African Games in Ghana is a question in the lips of every Nigerians.

Just few minutes ago, the Nigeria's U20 national team, Flying Eagles were defeated 2-0 by Burkina Faso in the final of the 2019 African Games, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The West African won the semifinals against Mali 3-2 on penalties (thanks to goalkeeper, Ogundare Detan who saves four penalties) to proceed to final.

Sadly, the team despite the attacking prowess could not find the back of the net as Burkina Faso scored the two goals in the first half.

The result means, the Flying Eagles missed the $3,000 for winning gold medal at the tournament unlike their women counterparts, Falconets who defeated Cameroon in the final via penalty shootout to lick gold medal.
