12th AG: Falconets thrashed Algeria, picks final ticket

Nigeria's U20 women's team Falconets continue its roller coaster at the ongoing 12th African Games in Rabat Morocco, as they qualified for the final in style.

Falconets confirmed its superiority over Algeria in the first Semifinal with a 3 -0 spanking.

Cynthia Aku netted a brace in the 16th and 26th minutes before Zainab Olopade completed the rout in the 90th minute of the encounter.

Nigeria who is yet to lose a single game in the competition qualified for the semifinal after playing out a 1-1 draw with Cameroon, defeated South Africa and walking over Zambia.

Falconets will play in the final the winner of the second semi final between Cameroon and host Morocco.
