After the thrashing of West African brothers Ghana, Mali has set up a semi final clash with Nigeria's Flying Eagles at the ongoing 12th African Games.

BSN Sports can report that Mali on Saturday defeated Ghana 4-2 in the last group match and finished on top of group B.

Success Makanjuola and Emeka Chinonso put up an heroic performance in the last group A match to upstage host Morocco.

Chinonso solely wrecked the Moroccan after he scored a late minute goal and ensured Nigeria picked a valuable draw to hit semi final.

The duo has stated their desire to shoot down in the semi final and zoom into the medal zone.

The other semi final will see Senegal take on Burkina Faso.
