12th AG: Nigeria claims Gold in women 4x100 meters, as Amusan also win Gold in Hurdles

In the absence of highly experienced sprint queen Blessing Okagbare, Team Nigeria in athletics won Gold in 4x100 meters women final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
BSN Sports reports that Okagbare left the camp of Team Nigeria in Rabat Morocco on Wednesday for Zurich to take part in 200 meters Diamond League final.
The quartet of Joy Udo Gabriel, Mercy Ntia Ubong, Adekunle Jasper and Rosemary Chukwuma finished first in the final and win Gold for the country.
The quartet crossed the line in 44.16s.
Meanwhile, Tobi Amusan has retained her title in the 100 meters women Hurdle final.
Amusan 12.68s run was enough to win the country Gold medal and also surpassing 12.74s record set by Gloria Alozie in Johannesburg, South Africa 20 years ago.
