12th African Games: Nigeria emerges overall winner in Badminton

After the completion of the Badminton events of the 12th African Games in Rabat Morocco, Team Nigeria in Badminton has emerged overall winner, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The overall badminton medals table that was released on Thursday evening after all the events showed that Nigeria emerges the best badminton country in the continent.

The table indicated that Nigeria has 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze to be placed on top of the log.

Egypt is second with 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze, while Mauritius is in third position with 1 Gold, 1Silver and 1 Bronze.

17 countries took part in the event with 7 out 17 countries placed on medals table while 10 countries have no medals at all.

Countries from 8th position to 17th has to be placed on the table via alphabetical order.
