12th African Games: Team Nigeria Wins Gold Medal In Women 3x3 Basketball

Nigeria's Women Basketball team added to Team Nigeria medal on Sunday as they clinched gold medal in the women's 3x3 basketball events at the ongoing 12th African Games, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The team thrashed Kenya 16 -6 in the semi final to set up a titanic clash in the final against Mali.

Mali was leading 20 - 18 and required just a point to emerged winner but Ifunaya Okoro threw a 3 pointer that gave Nigeria the Gold medal.

Few days ago Nigeria's women Basketball team D'Tigress emerged Africa champions in Dakar, Senegal at the AfroBasketball competition.

And Africa champions at the All African Games in Rabat Morocco.
