12th African Games: Zambia's Women football team pull out, Falconets finish top

Due to the paucity of fund, the Zambia Football Association ( ZFA) has pulled out the women national team from participation in ongoing 12th All African Games in Rabat Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Zambia played out a goalless draw against Basetsana of South Africa in the match day 2 of the competition.

The federation confirmed the pulling out on Thursday morning and seized to continue playing the games.

With Zambia women national team pulled out of the competition, this means all the results garnered by the team so far in the competition has been forfeited and maximum 3 points going to each team in the group.

Nigeria's Falconets who have qualified for the Semifinal but supposed to play Zambia in the last game have been awarded 3 points which take the team to 7 points and finished top of the group.
