19th NSF: Rukayat Ajiboye Thrilled For Winning Gold in Para-powerlifting For Rivers

19th NSF: Rukayat Ajiboye Thrilled For Winning Gold in Para-powerlifting For Rivers By Niyi Busari Rukayat Ajiboye on Friday won gold medal for Rivers State in the Para-powerlifting 45kg women category in the ongoing 2018 National Sports Festival at the Gymnasium Hall, Package B national stadium, Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rukayat lifted 107 kg to edge out Abokin Loveth who represented and won silver for Edo state. Loveth lifted 100 kg while Onyebueke Chinomso lifted 90 kg to emerge third and won bronze for Abia state. Lorida Daniel, Peace Musa, Mary Bala and Tijani Latifat came 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th respectively. Lorida Daniel of Team Akwa Ibom lifted 80 kg, Peace Musa who competed for Plateau state lifted 70 kg while FCT representative, Mary Bala lifted 65kg to emerge 6th.
